Erin Brockovich -
Erin was a young, twice divorced mother of three who was struggling to support her family. With little legal expertise, Erin began working for a law firm. She started an investigation to take down corporate giant PG&E company for contaminating the water supply of the small town of Hinkley, California with Chromium VI.

George becomes Erin’s boyfriend and throughout the movie he helps take care of her children while she worked on the PG&E case.
Erin's family consisted of three children: Matthew, age 8, Katie, age 6, and Beth,10 months.

A Hinkley resident who suffered five miscarrages and suspects this to be because of the contaminated water.
Pamela Duncan -
Pamela and her children suffered from many different health problems. Believing this to be from the water of PG&E, she supports Erin’s investigation.

Charles Embry -
Charles was a former employee of PG&E who worked at their chemical plant. He was ordered to destroy documents that contained incriminating evidence against PG&E. Fortunately, Charles did not destroy his records and gave them to Erin to help with the case.
Pacific Gas and Electric, the company that polluted Hinkley's water with hexavalent chromium. Erin was instumental in gathering evidence that proved they knowingly polluted Hinkley's water supply. As a result, PG&E was ordered by a judge to pay the plaintiffs $ 333 million dollars.
Donna is suffering from cancer and is one of the plaintiffs who files a lawsuit against PG&E. Ultimately, her family recieves five million dollars from the settlement.
Kurt was an attorney who specialized in toxic litigation. He was hired by Ed Masry to help win the case against PG&E.
